Using DSS format we can receive dictations via the Internet and e-mail
with dramatically reduced file size.
This form of 'voice' mail means that not only is the time spent online shorter, but we can have your documents typed and printed sooner!

USING DSS AND WAVE FILES:
DSS files are typically 1/12th to 1/20th the size of a conventional WAVE file, but do not suffer any loss of quality. In fact, DSS filters can take out all background noise giving superb clarity.
Modern digital
technology
makes dictation easy as well as offering extreme flexibility.
Unlike conventional tape recorders where voice files are simply overwritten,
digital technology allows for instant deletion of complete dictations.
With 'insert' functions the user can effortlessly add new sections at any point within a previously recorded file, again, not possible with tape-based systems.
Typically, hundreds of recordings can be stored and organised with ease with built in memory giving up to 330 minutes recording time.
The current system employed by Secretarial Solutions also allows the insertion of up to 16 index marks per message, during both recording and playback, allowing speedy location of a particular section of a dictation during playback.
With USB connectivity, fast and straightforward transfer of files to PC or MAC is achieved.
